A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for Southfield Way, Market Bosworth. The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Geda Construction and their contractors to undertake the construction of a new access and surfacing work. The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure between the junctions with Northumberland Avenue and Southfield Way on 13th September 2021 for up to 5 days.

Hinckley & Bosworth Draft Local Plan (Regulation 18) Consultation
The Borough Council is inviting comment on the Draft Local Plan from Wednesday 30 June 2021 to Friday 27 August 2021. Any comments on the documents need to be made during this period. The draft local plan is the next stage in the process for preparing a new local plan for our Borough.

The public toilet block has been reopened. The facilities will be available 7 days a week. Opening hours are approximately 9.00 am until 4.00 pm. The facilities are currently cleaned twice a day but from 1 July this will be reduced to once a day. The Parish Council operates a one-in / one-out policy, with on site notices encouraging users to respect this.

The public toilet block on Back Lane in Market Bosworth is temporarily closed due to unforeseen circumstances. Work is taking place and the facilities will be reopened as soon as possible.

The Parish Council has received notification of an upcoming outline planning application to develop land north of Station Road, running parallel to the railway line. The development would be for approximately 100 dwellings.
