The project is currently operating in the rural areas of Hinckley and Bosworth. As part of the project a Jobs Fair has been organised at Hinckley Library on 12 February 2020 between 10-12:30.

Residents to have their say on crime and disorder
PEOPLE living in the districts of Hinckley & Bosworth and Blaby are being asked for their views on what they think are the most important types of crime for the Community Safety Partnership for both areas to focus on in the next three years.

In response to complaints regularly received about speeding traffic, the Parish Council has purchased a portable speed indicator sign which it is hoped will encourage drivers to slow down, making our roads and footways safer. The sign will be rotated around Barton Road, The Park and Shenton Lane and it is hoped to extend the scheme in the future subject to permissions required from Highways.

Following community engagement a project to install some new swings at the Waterside Mede play area in Market Bosworth commenced in 2018 and was completed in the summer of 2019 with the installation of wet pour safety surfaces. Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order on Haven Road. A road closure is required on Haven Road from the junction of Weston Drive and Stanley Road, Market Bosworth on the 6th January 2020 for 3 days. Community Initiative fund opens for applications 2020/21
Community groups in parishes across Hinckley and Bosworth are being encouraged to apply for their share of the Parish and Community Initiative Fund for 2020/21.
A total of £150,000 has been made available to support community projects in the parished areas of the Borough and grants are available for up to 50 per cent of the total project... Read More »

Refuse & recycling arrangements
There will be alternate arrangements for collections due on Wednesday 25 December, Thursday 26 December and Wednesday 1 January. All other refuse and recycling collections will continue as usual during the Christmas and New Year period.
