Free Trees Scheme

This year Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council is giving away 27,000 trees as part of its declared climate emergency. These trees will absorb over 10,000 tonnes of carbon over the next 40 years (assuming they all survive).

Community groups and parish councils can apply for up to 20 trees and up to 30 metres of hedging and it is hoped that as many people as possible will be able to join the Borough... Read More »

Emergency Temporary Traffic Regulation Order

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order on Heath Road, Market Bosworth on the 17th August 2022 for up to 21 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for STW to facilitate the repair of a burst water main. The proposed alternative diversion route will be signed on site. New Speculative Development Application 22/00167/OUT

Gladman has submitted a new speculative planning application (ref 22/00167/OUT ) for outline planning for a development of up to 125 houses on Shenton Lane. This is in addition to their original application to develop land by the cemetery.
