Preparations are in hand for the Christmas tree and town centre lights to be switched on at 4.30pm on Sunday 29th November. Whilst covid-19 prevents a formal switch on event in the Market Place this year, the Parish Council supports the suggestion made by a member of the public that all those of us who have outdoor lights might switch them on at the same time and give a Christmas clap to the NHS and all the other key workers.
