A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for Barton Road, Market Bosworth (see attached plan). The purpose of the TTRO is to facilitate carriageway patching. The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure. The duration of the TTRO is for one day only on 07/08/2018.

One half of the Market Place will be closed on Friday 15 June to enable repairs to the War Memorial steps. The closure will affect the area from and including the War Memorial up to the entrance / exit to the Market Place from Station Road outside Softleys.

Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council in conjunction with North Warwickshire Borough Council recently launched a Destination Management Plan in respect of tourism to the Bosworth Area.
A tourism showcase was held at Sutton Cheney on Friday 23 March 2018 at which an Explore Bosworth Visitor Map was launched as part of the project delivery for the Destination Management Plan.
