Work on the Memorial Garden rejuvenation project is coming on apace despite the recent bad weather. Check out our picture gallery to see the changes so far: undergrowth, shrub and tree clearance has opened out the area to increase light and space and replacement planting is underway.
Residents and visitors are welcome to drop in to the Memorial Garden at any time they wish to see the transformation taking place. It is intended to complete the project in time to mark the commemoration of the centenary of the end of the First World War, the Gardens being dedicated to those who died during both world wars.
