Local Plan Review: Scope, Issues and Options Consultation
The Borough Council is inviting comment on the Local Plan Review from Monday, 8 January 2018 until Sunday, 4 March 2018. Any comments on the documents need to be made during this period. The Scope, Issues and Options marks the start of the process for preparing a new Local Plan for our Borough. You can view and download all the documents and appendices from the website: www.hinckley-bosworth.gov.uk/localplanreview. Paper copies will be available for reference use at a number of locations across the Borough in addition to the council's office.
Strategic Growth Plan Consultation Draft
The Strategic Growth Plan is a long term, high-level plan that is being prepared jointly by the seven district councils, Leicester City and Leicestershire County Council and the Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership. In its final form, the Plan will set out an agreed strategy for the county for the period to 2050. The Consultation Draft Plan explains the way in which the partners have prepared the Plan and sets out the broad locations where development might take place. It also highlights the infrastructure that will be needed to deliver growth.
The consultation for the Strategic Growth Plan consultation draft will run until 17:00 on Thursday 5 April 2018. Any comments on the documents must be made during this period. The Strategic Growth Plan can be viewed and downloaded from the Strategic Growth Plan dedicated external website: www.llstrategicgrowthplan.org.uk, or in paper copy at the Borough Council's offices and the following libraries: Barwell, Burbage, Desford, Earl Shilton, Groby, Hinckley, Market Bosworth, Markfield, Newbold Verdon and Ratby. Library opening hours are available on Leicestershire County Council's website: https://www.leicestershire.gov.uk/leisure-andcommunity/libraries/find-a-library.
